are you going to feed all this power
reliably?
how about a Brembo brake kit ($$$$), gotta stop too...
If your wallet allows it go ahead,
but plan out the project properly,

everthing is possible but has a price,
every aspect has to be taken in consideration:
motor mounts,
custom exhaust,
reinforced front suspension,
will gauges/dash controls match the computer/harness,
transmission, rear axle, better brakes
etc etc,
a 10000$ project can quickly turn into
a 20000$ one when custom stuff is required.

Message: The 2nd one for sure looks fake. You probably could have pulled off the 1st one if you had put Viper rims on it instead on Ram rims on it.

Far from it, it has been done several times. Here's one of them--- http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/2/web/374000-374999/374043_9_full.jpg
If you can afford it, go for it. Most people have neither the expertise or the money to invest in such a project. The rest are just naysayers and blowing hot air.
Viper front wheels fit all the way around on the Dakota.
There is no reason you can't get the 9.5 rear end to work just fine. There are plenty of trucks running that rear behind more hp than a stock v10.

Message: The rear Viper wheels are too wide. If you can get the 18 or 19x13 rears on your truck, more power to you. The fronts are only 18x10 and most people don't have any problem.
Why would you have to buy the wheels new? The regularly show up on ebay for under $300 each. It may some time and you have to buy them one at a time but you don't have to pay three grand for them.
Don't forget, you are not the one doing the project. The guy is looking for support not criticism or personal dislikes.

Message: Mike, I did a little research for you, now it's up to you to do the rest. Check some other dodge truck forums. There have been several pictures posted. If you can't do that I doubt you have the ambition to take on such a project.
