Message: I have dyno runs, that I posted over a year ago, mostly on the Superchips tuner. All three settings, over two different times, with the second on premium gas, for the PERF and towing setting. I already had HO cams, HO intake, ported TB, no third cat, and no belt driven fan, or fan clutch.
I can only objectively help on the 4.7 beast.
P.S.- Best run, the way I drive it everyday, (no short belts, etc.) was:
RWHP-227
RWTQ-300
Rear Wheel!!

Message: Those are really good numbers Todd.
What year is your truck and how hard was the HO intake install and how did you like it?

Message: I have a 2001, 4.7, manual, 2wd, QC, (has the two piece drive shaft, which reduces your RW #'s slightly.)
the HO intake is really easy to install, someone in 2002 dynoed before and after intakes, and it moved the torque curve over to the higher R's slightly, and it also raised the totals slightly.
I really couldn't tell the difference, but it was along time ago. I'm considering putting my non HO back on, to see if I feel 'feel' more low end torque.
