Usually done with the heel-toe method - right heel on brake; and toe on gas. Some vehicle ergonomics work better for this than others.

Yeah, not too hard. The foot will arc, so you can floor it while the brake is pushed in. It takes a little bit to get it accomplished. Or just hold the clutch and gas in, dump the clutch, then stab on the brake. It should work out all the same.

Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer.

haha...cool, thanks for the tips! Dumping the clutch then on the brake sounds kinda hard on the tranny! The heel-toe method sounds like it might put less stress on the tranny (clutch will take the beating though).
Tires...well, that's a different story!

I just do it for 2nd and 3rd gear and let off the brake and let her roll. There really is no need for 1st gear. TOO LOW!
