Ok guys this is a 1999 dakota R/T with 11,000 miles yes 11,000 miles. This truck has been in florida for 2 years at www.krcperformance.com being transformed in to a monster! This truck has the best of the best and no money spared. Ok engine is 408ci stroker, Ross pistons,speedpro rings, Eagle H beam rods,mopar performance steel crank,mildon 4 bolt main caps, ARP main studs,KRC220 cam,short block blanced. Heads- mopar performance R/T blower ported big valves ,screw in studs guid plates bee hive 600 lift valve springs, crower 1.7 roller rockers,ARP head studs, Mopar performance M1 Intake, 55mm tb, Fuel system - fms 30lb injectors holley 255 intank pump, Krc custom billet fuel rails with a return line setup.arowmotive fmu, boost fuel regulator. Procharger p1sc head unit. Trans was built by ATI. 3600 viper 9.5" stall converter. Hooker super comp long tube headers in to 3" true dual no cats and flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. okay, ive seen people talking about the 408 stroker on here, but my question is what would i need to build a "cheep" version of this motor(no blower, and little less extreme on the parts), and second, what would i need to make it work in my truck computer wise for all the new internal components. because im gettin ready to turn 190,000 on my 97 318, and its about time to start on a new bigger motor. and about how much power should expect from a motor like this?thanks
97 std. cab 5.2 cold air intake, underdrive pully kit, 3" homemade X-pipe no mufflers or cat.

second, i said to hear that you spent all that money and didn't even get to have fun with the
r/t, and how much will you be willing to sacrafice on the price.

ok,sorry about that, i was just askin someone who seemed to know about the 408 subject not expecting an immature answer from someone who obviously has too much money for his own good.now back too my subject. a real automotive enthusiest builds his own project and takes pride in his own work, wich is what i have planned, not being proud about something that i paid to have done. I also cannot start my own thread because every time i try to do so my computer says internet error and it shuts down, so i would appreciate an answer on what i would need to build one and a gues at what it would cost.

sorry idn't know, and i am building my own 01 r/t as we speak im not making it a 408 even though i would like to considering the bank acount but i am in the middle of rebuilding the top end with a full crower valve train and r/t heads, cam full exhaust and so on and so forth, a 408 already assembled probly around 5000 est. and that does in clude all the bolt on and upgraded fuel system and son on, just the short block

Dude i feel so bad for you that you have to get rid of the truck, i mean $hit if i wasn't building my own i would have jumped on it in a heart beat, and it would save me a lot of time doing it my self, did you even get to play with it or did you just get it back from krc and have to sell it asap

Well trust me I dont really want to part with her but I just bought a new house and I need the money. AS for the truck I have had it back for a month and I have put like 250 miles on it and all I can say is sick its sick.This truck sounds so good but its the only thing I have to part with so its gotta go . All I can say is this truck is done right and someone going to get a sick azz truck

heres the thing. i have a 92 jeep cherokee. i bought it for 1200 bucks. as of now it has about 12k invested into it. it doesnt even have a motor at the moment. but there is no way in hell its actually worth 12k. your in the same situation. you may have 40k into your truck but people would rather buy a vette. i tihnk 18000 is a steal but unless you find a guy looking for that exact truck "like alot of guys on here" and have the money for it... noone will want it. they would just see a pick up thats pretty fast. but they would rather have a lightning or somthin since they wouldnt know what there talkin about lol.
p.s. id buy it for 20k tomarrow if i could.
