Message: its on the top of the intake manifolt pretty easy to find and the 318 is the same as a chevy so go find it haynes manual internet

Message: Each injector has the cylinder number on it. The distributor cap gives you the number 1. The manifold gives the firing order.

and like everything else above stamped on factory equipped intake manifold, but firing order remains same if changed

Message: I think it was Isky Racing Cams that made a cam that changed the firing order on a small-block Chevy V8 and it made pretty damn good horsepower numbers.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer. well at least a stock one
