Message: What motor are you using in it? If a 318 then just all the 318 5-speed manual equipment. That should not be too hard to find. If you are using a 360 then you will have to find a Ram with a 360 with a 5-speed manual behind it. It is harder to find, but do-able. I would just call the local auto-part store. I was going to do a V8 swap. I just ended up buying a truck with a V8 it saves a lot of headache, but if you are adamant about doing this then more power to you. Good luck.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer. well at least a stock one

Message: The v8 is a 318,I have figured out everything else except the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate.Being a manual trans. causes these extra headaches.I unfortunately found out today that the crank sensor part number changed from 93 to 94,which is the same year the fullsize trucks went from d-150's to 1500's.Don't know if the flywheels are different also, none of my local parts stores show any listings for flywheels and the local dodge dealer sucks.I'm stuck,I am adimate about the swap,I wanted THIS truck with v8 man. trans. Please help.

Message: Well, try car-part.com find a salvage yard. Ask the part store to show you a '93 and a '94 sensor and compare the two. I would not imagine that they changed. Then you never know though.
