Just purchased some underdrive pulleys from rpm outlet and was wondering if anyone had dealt with them in the past and the result you had with them

do you mean the pulleys or rpm outlet? the pulleys, yes. i have an underdrive crank pulley only on my '00 QC. i wouldn't use the alt and waterpump pulleys though. too many complaints about charging and or cooling problems.

yeah i bought the crank pulley from Rpmoutlet.com. good gains on the crank but don't bother with any other pulleys?

you're not going to notice a real "gain". the only thing i noticed on my '00 3.9 is that it seems to rev a little freeier. i didn't mess with the others because of the complaints i listed before that others have had.

the only real reason i got mine is because i bought it used for 20 bucks. depending on what yr/engine you have there are many other things that will help more than that pulley.

Isn't this about like taking my belt driven fan clutch and fan off or my 4.7, over 5 years ago?

Many like me have done this mod, turning less mass, ever so small, is a definite, yet small h/p / Tq increase.

Sometimes the alternator pulleys that come with the underdrive package offset the underdrive of the new crank pulley so that you retain the same amperage output at idle, yet still underdrive everything else.

I put all three on mine and have had no problems with voltage(although i have a powermaster hi output alternator)or cooling(i have an electric fan that works great)so all and all i have been very happy with my power pulleys.
