API is over rated and worthless

API is a minimum rating and voluntary

neither amsoil or redline oils are API

both exceed minimum requirements for api certification

also, Royal Purple racing oils are not api
and the company only states that RP racing
oils exceed api certification

api is a minimum rating for oils interested
only in meeting minimum requirements

amsoil, redline and royal purple racing oils
exceed minimum api cert and don't give a $hit

well gee says alot about scamoil then doesn't it???

cause they never got API approved!

"also, Royal Purple racing oils are not api "
NO SH!T dumb azz!
there is no need for a racing oil to be API certified!
there is no factory warranty on a race engine!

Stan get off the drugs out of the welfare line and get a dam job!

all royal purples oil are API certified (except the race oils which dont have to be)

Amsoil can't get there oils API certified
they had to cook up a whole new oil just to get IT approved!

Royal Purple racing oils are also for daily drivers
just really short oil change intervals

and Cory posted the following info:

All vehicle manufacturers in the U.S. have agreed that a warranty cannot be denied because a customer was using any particular brand of oil that meets specifications, unless an engine failure was directly attributable to the fluid. If it is not a fluid related failure, they cannot void the warranty. The law supports this position.

Plus, the dealer/manufacturer has no way of telling what fluid you are using.

Amsoil meets and exceeds API specs.

This time I am posting. Stan you have been nothing but a P.I.T.A. on this site and made some of the dumbest posts I have ever seen. Your last post a top here however takes the prize. I mean you without a doubt are a true Darwin Award winner!

Race Oils should not be used in street engines.
Race oils are non or very low detergent oils.
They have very little to no cleaning properties.
They are made for motors that see high heat-High RPMs and are torn down regular & rebuilt.
This is also a reason they are not API approved
for their lack of cleaning properties.
Which they don't need in a race engine.

Darwin Award?

I started this thread, so I can talk about Darwin Awards now.

I provide medical care at Emergency Rooms in the Houston area. Daily, I make jokes with my nurses about Darwin award winners. Some people can do the dumbest and weirdest things. I know I have.

flamer,

Are you a disgruntled former Amsoil dealer.
Maybe that is why you hate Amsoil.

Amsoil sells millions of gallons of motor oil.
Amsoil is highly respected in the industry.
By their peers, race teams, magazine editors, etc.

What are you trying to prove?
Give it up already.
