so i was on my way home from another party hardy weekend, and as i pull into a intersection theres a new singlecab Ram 1500 that is on the right, were both going straight. hes blaring his stock radio so i start bumping my 2 10s just for $hits and grins lol, and all the sudden he takes off and i knew it was on.
he beat me off the start, but of course he gotta head start. and remember i never got to see if it was a 4.7 or a hemi :(, but anyways a few seconds later im on his tail at around 45. then i noticed that my OD was on and as soon as i cut that off the RPMs shot up another 1000 or so and i left em in the dust. he kept up a carlength or 2 behind until i hit 110 and he backed off. fun stuff haha
just lettin yall know im lovin my fairly new DAK! 00' sport red 4.7

It had to be a hemi. If it was a 4.7 you would have destroyed him by 110.
But anyway slowdown a bit. I like to street race too but I just go to 60 or so unless we are running on a closed off street. Ive seen enough crazy crap happen on a closed street to ever consider going that fast with other people around.

Whatever racer your an idiot. Its morons like you that get the public and the police all pissed off at us for not being even remotely responsible. The cops never bother us on our drag street until some idiot leaves and goes racing and burning his tires around town and in traffic. Some idiot two years lost a race and got all pissy (friggin riceboy). He left and hit a pole about two miles down the road. the police knew where he was coming from and they shut us down for almost the entire summer.

how about you idiots save it for the track? besides, if you race someone at the track there's no bullsh!t like "oh i was pulling on him and i woulda had him but i had to back off because of a little kid in the road." if anyone ever wants to race me i tell them to meet me at Norwalk Raceway Park on wednesday nights. Plus that way you can find out how fast your truck really is.

Norwalk huh. Ive raced there before I mostly go to Milan Dragway though. By the way where we race its just a half of a mile strech. No driveways or other streets and is always deserted after 9 pm. It mind as well be a track. You can still say im an idiot if you want but as long as your not running an 11 second car I think were pretty safe. I dont take my firebird because that is kind of crazy. There is no way a kid is gonna be in the road either because there is a quater mile of grass on both sides and not a single house for a mile. Its im the middle of nowhere. I wish we did have a strip within an hour drive though.

you've raced at Norwalk before? thats cool. I live about a mile away from there, in fact i used to work there when i was younger. Hot Norwalk Nights start april 25th... i usually race on wednesday nights. if you're planning on going out there sometime this year maybe we could meet up. It would be nice to see another dak out there, Im usually the only one.

I dont take my truck to the track that much. Mostly my firebird but I wanted to get some times early this summer because I was going to get it dyno tuned with some more nitrous this spring. I swear this thing is going to go or blow :)
