Message: Why must some people LURK on this site only to reply with a worthless post about someone's spelling?
Ever since the internet was around, or even before with the BBS, most people don't worry about their spelling as long as they get the point across.
Now. Jason52, what engine do you have now?
I have a NV3500 5 speed transmission WITH the clutch hydrolic linkage and clutch pressure plate, disc, etc.
I bought it for another project and then since sold that project car and still have the tranny.
All that would be needed to install this would be to cut the hole in the floor and get a clutch pedal from something. The hydrolic linkage I have goes right thru the firewall and hooks onto the pedal. It would not be too hard.

Message: No doubt N55629. As long as it's related to the Dakota website, who cares if someone mis-spells or abriviates their sentences to their liking.
There sure are a lot of a$$ clowns who lurk forums just to point out stuff like spelling.
Jason. Wow, too bad you live in FLORIDA while I am in Arizona!!!
The Transmission came off of a 2000 3.9 V6 Dakota. I took all of the clutch hardware even though I was going to have to get a flywheel for the 4.7 to use.
All of the stuff here is good. The clutch hydrolic linkage came off in one piece, so you would not even have to bleed it!
It is some simple hardware.

I paid over $800 for the stuff and have it for sale for $700
But the shipping to Florida would not be cheap :p
If anyone in AZ needs a NV3500, let me know.

But I thought the v6 had something like an AX15, or something like that, not the NV3500?

Message: Older models have the AX15, 88-93 I think. Maybe up to 96, I'm not exactly sure.

Message: The NV3500 DID come off of a 2000 3.9 Dakota. I saw the truck they pulled it from in the junk yard. At first I was skepticle that it was a NV3500 and that it fit a 4.7 like he said.
But after I bought it I had posted the numbers from it online and someone checked and said it DID in fact was a NV3500 and fit the 4.7 (and probably the 5.2 I assume).
If my truck was not a 4X4, I'd be tempted to swap myself. However, I also have the newer PCM which I don't think would like having the 5-45RFE missing.
