Message: So I took my '02 Sport CC to the track for the first time. I have the 4.7. My friend who has a mustang kept talking about how he would whoop me. Well I proved him wrong by almost two seconds. I ran a 15.6 at 85mph. The stang ran 17.2 at 88mph. Goes to show how awesome and quick the 4.7s are. I'm guessing that 15.6 is alright for an all stock truck. Any ideas on what I can do to improve my time?

Message: Hotter cams, more ignition advance, get rid of the restrictive stock y-pipe for a start.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Message: when you plan on going to the drag strip
to challenge a buddy...
remove all un-necessary weight,
spare tire, jack, tool box etc,
not too much fuel in the tank too
in racing every pound counts.
choose the proper rear tire pressure for best traction, increase your front tire pressures for less rolling resistance.

Message: Thanx, I'm planning on getting new cams and a K&N cold air. I want to replace the y pipe but I have no idea where to find a better one.
