I tried it once with ready made hoses and cast parts. After about a year or so it started leaking. Use Canton parts and -10 AN lines and fittings. Unless you really want the look of steel braided, use push on hose from Aeroquip or Russell. It's cheaper and lighter, and a lot easier to work with.
For the block adapter, get one for a Ford, it will fit the 5.2/5.9 engine block. Not sure about the 4.7, but I think it's differant.
The remote filter mount fits a Ford/Dodge filter. You can use the extra large Purolater Pro-1 filter for extra capacity. I put mine on the outside of the frame rail, but high enough so I didn't have to worry about ground clearance. The filter adapter is a handy place for a temp gauge tap if you're so inclined.
Expect to spend $175-$200 for everything. That's a lot of money, but it's cheaper than using the cheap parts to begin with. Go to www.fortesparts.com.
Here's a picture of the remote mount on my track car. Not sure how helpfull it is. Look to the bottm left of the second picture labeled "Catch Can".

Unless you're also adding a cooler, you don't need a thermostat. And unless you really beat on the engine in hot climates, I don't see why you'de need a cooler. The thermostat on my track car rarely opens during street driving.

When one finds icelandic words in other, less significant, parts of the world one fills up with curiosity and wonders; a cousin maybe? When and how did his ancestors happen to stop there?; and so on.
