My 2002 Dodge Dakota check engine light came on and i had a loss of engine power up hills and take off it seems to be fine now except there is no passing gear or low gear when I'm going up hills. I check the code and it was P 1762 ???.

It says it's a governor pressure sensor I'm not real sure where or what this is i havn't really had much time to research. Also i have a question about a membership to this web site I gave the wrong e-mail address> how do i get that changed so i can get my user name and password. Thanks

governor pressure sensor is in the tranny. others on here have changed them and would probably be of more help. my '00 QC is a 5speed manual.
