I was just wondering if the 91 octane program for the superchips is worth using over the 87. I want to know with the gas prices now is it that much better that i would be totally satified?

Yea it does i was wondering if it is worth buying the 91 octane and running the 91 octane program. I wanted to see what the difference in power between the 87 and 91 and wanted to know if it is worth upgrading my gas.

The power difference is very noticable but whether or not it is worth the difference is entirely up to you. Sometimes I get 91 for just .10/gal more than 87. It's a lot of fun for a mere two bucks.

I run the 91oct, just like N56629 said. That and there may be a time when a taco,ford,chevy, pulls up beside me wanting to race. I've pd for pwr, I want to know I can give it my all>win or lose. Not that I would ever do any street racing cause that's against the law and dangerous!

I know this is off subject but i see everyone is using the 206 KRC Cam. Is that a real good cam to use and is it just a good one for the 4.7 or can i use it on my 5.9? If so then how much was it and how much to get it installed?

Cams for the 4.7 and 5.9 are not interchangable. Check krcperformance.com for info.

Ryan, now that you have the G-Tech, you can do what I did, and make some runs with and without and see if the time deltas are worth it to you.
I have measured .3-.4 tenths between the 87 and 91 programs on my 4.7 auto. That delta seems to be what others get also. The only exceptions that I have seen are with the manual trannys. It seems that the SC difference may be small to negligible for a manual due to PCM differences.
