There are lots of reasons for loss of power. Especially at 53k. At this point you could be looking at something simple, like a sensor (o2). Or something a little more involved like a bad CAT, clogged fuel filter, bad spark plugs, coil, distributor cap/rotor.

I would start with a tune-up kit. It should have a cap, rotor, plugs and plugs wires.
If that doesn’t help, have the CAT and o2 sensors checked. My front one was bad, but didn’t show a code.

Don't want to rob your post but:
How do you check your O2 Sensors?
Not to long ago back my cat. converter went bad, and had no check engine lights. Changed my O2 sensors along with it. Just would like to know if they are still performing properly.
