doubt it. the 5.3 chevy almost competes with the Hemi on acceleration if not on par with it. i doubt that chevy 5.3 will beat anywhere else tho
the 6.0L has a little more power in a lighter truck i would hope it beats the dodge. i think its 5,500lbs dodge with 345hp 375tq vs. 5,000lb chevy with 345hp 380tq.
As for truck dutys i would steer clear of the new chevys with the problems they're having and that Onstar bullsh!t that lets the government track you!

I'm just a natural Chrylser guy, so the Hemi gets my vote by default. Don't care for them Shevees.

Be clever; rent each and use them for what you'll be using it for. Paperwork is nice but what actually happens on the ground is the only way to find out for sure what it will do for you.
You may find they both look pretty, but one will fit you better.

this gives you a taste of what it would be like
putting the two up against each other. even tho the chevy is the SS version it has the same motor the Silverado Max is getting, but the SS has AWD in this comparison.
