I am wondering what is quicker... A Dakota 4.7 4x4 or a Durango 4.7 4x4??? Both with 3:55 & automatic.

Depends on which Dakota. My Quad cab 4x4 is a bit heavier than our 4x4 Durango. We have 1 one of each.

Actually Blizz I looked at the numbers wrong. Didnt seem right to me either. The Durango is about 100 to 200 lbs heavier.
I think that one thing that people are not taking into account on the 5.2 and 5.9 vs. the 4.7 with auto tranny's is that the 4.7's have a completly different tranny. The one on the 4.7 is geared a bit lower than the old one for the 5.2 and 5.9. As an example, I have 32 inch tires, the Durango has 31's, both have 3.55 gears. Even though her tires are smaller, she still runs about 100 or so rpms lower on the highway than I do.
