Get a v8 throttle cable or you could get fancy and do what I did. I grinded off the bracket that the cables attach to on the v8 throttle body and welded on the one from my v6 throttle body. It takes a little fabrication, but then there's no need to switch any cables. The difference between the two is that the v8 has a disc on the bracket that the throttle cable attaches to and the v6 has a ball on the bracket for the cable to attach to. Look at each throttle body and you will see what I am talking about.
