Message: no you dont unless specified by the company that makes the cam.... if its a radical higher lift cam then you might have to and the maker should have that noted if pushrod replacement is needed

Message: Wouldn't hurt to step up to a stronger aftermarket rod. The greater pressures from higher lift vs stiffer spring rates will cause more flex in the pushrods. The thicker-walled aftermarket units will resist this and deliver full lift potential. Think of it as relatively cheap valvetrain insurance.

Message: if your going with a higher lift cam you will obviously need the lifters and you will almost definately need new valve springs
