If youre looking for a deal on a motor or other parts from marshalls, then forget it. These backdoor hicks are out for one thing. Screwing you and me. I bought a 3.9L magnum engine from them for 845 dollars. When it came it was full gunk and crud built up inside. My mechanic didn't even want to put it in. So i called them and sent them pictures. They swore up and down it was good motor and that i was wasting time off my warranty by not putting it in. I fought and fought with him. He said just put it in "i stand by my motors". So silly me believed him. So i paid 1200 to get the motor in after having it cleaned and put 400 in new parts. I got the truck back and the next day it started knocking. I called them up and they told me it was a carbon knock. I told my mechanic and he laughed. It's not a carbon knock it the lower end knocking. Long story short i spent 2070 dollars to be in the same situation i was in. I had to have the mechanic call him just to get to admit it was bad motor because he just kept filling me with sh!T. So now im supposed to send them back the motor with 400 dollars in new parts for just the money back for the motor. SO DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS YOURE LOOKING TO THROW $ OUT THE WINDOW. Anybody got any ideas on how to get some of my money back from horrible nightmare?
PS when i first tried to send the motor back he said i had to pay for all the shipping for his mistake. Another thing he couldnt even keep me straight with a couple other people that were calling about bad motors

DO NOT confuse "Marshall Engines" with "Marshallsautoparts.com", they are NOT the same. Marshall Engines (in Nebraska) is an experienced and reputable engine remanufacturer (like Jasper, for example) and would never do this sort of thing to a customer. How can I be so sure? I sold their product at a previous job for 5 years and any issues were handled in a prompt and satisfactory manner. Their product was very dependable and reliable, too.

Marshall Engines DOES NOT sell engines like what CN has described (is this a USED engine, or one they are representing as "rebuilt", "remanufactured", or- gulp-new?

At $845 I'm sure it was a (supposedly) good used engine.

terrible price to pay for a v6 used > to high for a v8 used too unless it came with papers stating upgrades (at that price) and mileage. My opinion. Sorry you got shafted

So many problems .... So little time
