ok guys id like to run dual pipes with glass packs behind the third cat how do i get two pipes to come out of the cat is that what a y pipe is for? how does my idea sound?

A y-pipe typically comes off the exhaust manifolds or a two into one pipe. If you buy a dual exhaust kit you will get a one into two pipe followed by two seperate exhaust pipes, mufflers and tips. You could probably get a hi-pro cat with one in and two out. I doubt there would be much advantage.
Your other option would be to eliminate the third cat. I don't think you will find any company making exhausts that eliminate any of the cats so you will be on your own.
