My 01 4.7, manual tranny dak was ordered with the 3.55's

I recently went to 3.92's.

I was already making over 350 ft/lbs at the crank.
It helped some. Wraps it out a little quicker.

I can barely get 25mph in 1st, near redline, with the stock 16in tires and wheels, and the 5 speed manual.

I think it took about 1-2 mph off @ 70mph- 5th gear. @70, tach went from 2100 to 2400rpm.

Yeah with my 4.10s an auto tranny I'm turning 2500rpm @ 70mph.
I think you'll be happy with it like that!
