my 04 stock height (no plans to change) Quad cab seems pretty stiff legged. What is working for owners out there? Low pressure gas-charged seems to be the "thing" - Edelbrock IAS, KYB, Bilstein, Gabriel, Monroe ????

I have a 99 4x4 and got a great ride from the Gabrial G-FORCE shocks. There an oil filled shock not gas. Good ride and comfort for the money. I just got a set of KYB's to make the truck handle better, I'm very happy with those. But I don't think you should go for something like that, it stiffens up the ride. Go with the G-FORCE Gabrials.

I have Monroe Reflex shocks on my 2001 and 2002 trucks. They ride great, but my Durango is a little too stiff unless the back is loaded down with 200-300 pounds of stuff.

I don't know about the other shocks that are being recommended, but these are guaranteed for life. Of course, it's just the part only. Installation is on your dime or dirty hands.

What's your left foot doing?
