Subject: Aluminized v.s. Stainless IP: Logged
Message: I have a 01 Durango Slt 4x4, with the 4.7. I am planing on buying the true dual GS motorsports exhuast. It comes aluminized, and cost $775 + $80 for cats, which brings the price to $855. I live in Cleveland, Ohio and there is alot of salt in the winter, and the exhaust can be ordered in stainless, but it is an extra $350, and that would bring the price to $1,205. Is stainless worth it or is aluminized ok. Thanks.

Message: Where I live we use calcium or magnesium chloride, both very corrosive in either liquid or granular, so I went stainless on my exhaust. Just one opinion.
