Kurt,
Stay away from the Stant thermostats. I had a "Super Stant" from PepBoys in my Dak up until a couple months ago. My Dak would creep up towards 210 while sitting in stop & go traffic. I replaced it with a Robert Shaw 180 T-stat and the temperature now stays where it should be. I found the Robert Shaw at Autozone and the part number is 755-180.
You will need to drain some of the antifreeze out before changing the T-stat. If the antifreeze is fairly fresh you can reuse it as long as you drain it into a spotless container.
I found a Borg Warner brass cap and rotor at PepBoys.
I've heard not-so-nice things about Accel plug wires, but that was a few years ago. Maybe they have gotten better with time. I run Taylor Vertex 8mm and am very happy with them. I'm not up on wire prices, but $75 doesn't sound outrageous for good quality 8mm or 8.5mm wires.
