I'm at cecil county drags and there is a "L" club there from maryland. I get in line and about 4cars up is an L with a stiker that says , Going R/T hunting be back in 12 secs.So I go to the guys in front of me and ask to move up on the ford ,every one was a chevey! I move up on him and he just smiles! We line up I cut a 005 to his 145 we stayed (almost) side by side, I went 12.01.6 to his 12.01.9 my mph was 113 his was 114. We talked in the pits he hadnt run up against a low 12sec dac before, needless to say he has now!

PowerDyne 8lbs boost, Kammer cam, M-1 4bbl, crower roller rockers, crower lifters, fastman tb, jba headers, true duels with boss turbos, cal-tacs, 3000 10' convertor cope racing trans floor mount hurst shifter. It's a 00 rc black with a cowl hood. It will be rebuilt in feb with a 408 and hopefuly an sts turbo system.

most lighting guys are cool! your dakota hauls a#$ if your doing 12.01!! is this thing running on pump gas? if that truck is street legal than that is one awesome truck!!

I live in millsboro down state delaware. No the truck is auto with a hurst in the floor. I run a msd 6btm I control timing in the cab. On pump gas I put alot of timing into it about 16 above stock, at the track I run race gas (114) With stock timing--- Well the timing that B&G put into my PCM. Hey moparR/T do you know tim he has a yellow rc 99 with a 408 and vortec? He lives down by me.And the L was a 00 or 01 I think.

did you have to buff up the trans to handle all that extra power? it seem like the trans they put behind the r/t is a good unit?

The trans went bad about a year ago it had a trans go shift kit in it and it did take alot of abuse. When I had it rebuilt we used all the good stuff from cope racing it should hold all that I have in mind for it---ie-- 408 & tubo I would like to get it into the 10s.

i was at cecil a couple of weekends ago and was talkin to a guy with a yellow RG R/T but i didnt think it was a 408, i belive it was running 13.8's. would that be him?

No his truck is at KRC getting pretty much everything. If you go to there web site krcperformance his truck is on there home page it is suppossed to be making 8oo+ to the back wheels. The nexst time I run up at cecil I will post before I go maybe we can get some R/Ts together. I should be getting my charger back sometime in the beging of january and the work being done to it I should go into the 11s.
