Subject: Electric Fan HELP!!! IP: Logged
Message: Hello again,
I used to post here alot but have been out of the loop for a while.
Problem:
Swerved to avoid a deer hit a road sign,
Damage:
Dented hood, bumper, smashed grill shell. All cosmetic EXCEPT my electric fan.
I long ago removed my clutch fan and installed a Permacool adjustable fan controller. I wired it so the ECU would still control the fan when the AC was on etc. I set the fan controller to kick on about 190 deg.
I know the fan still works because I tried wiring it directly to the battery.
I used a multimeter and when the AC is on no voltage is going to the fan i checked at the plug from the wiring harness to the fan and Before the plug to verify it was not the plug.
I also changed out the fan relay with the fog light relay (since they are the same) to verify it's not the relay
What next?
Thank you
