Message:
I havea 98 dak with the 6lug bolt pattern. I have a friend with a toyota truck with 5 lug pattern. He has a set of 18's with low-profile tires that he wants to sell me for CHEAP. I was wondering if there was anything i can buy or get done to change my lug pattern to 5 lug or if i am just screwed and have to pass up the opportunity. thanks brandon

You could remove all your lugs and have the flanges redrilled for thenew pattern. Expensive, a pain in the behind, often done incorrectly by the machine shop, and certainly not worth the effort.

Pass.

yea depending on how good your deal is on the wheels from ur freind, but in the end it wouldnt be worth it unless, u got some wheel adapters, but im not sure if they make a 6 lug to a 5 lug coversion and that will cost u around another 300 - 400 bux.

You'd be better off passing and getting some rims for your application.

Check E-Bay, I had some adaptors made for a different application and they only cost me 120.00 bucks. There are quite a few people there that will custom make adaptors.
