Message: Hmmm, at summit MSD 6A usually at $180, now at $150. Taylor 8mm $35-40, cap and rotor should be around $20. You should be around $210 total.

Message: I recommend the MSD. It was one of the first mods I installed. After a few years I did switch to autolite platinum plugs. It does wear out your ignition components 3x faster. Careful with most platinum plugs. Most arent designed well. Bosch for example has a teeny tiny thin electrode and if you get a small partical of dirt on it, youre fouled. Just my $0.02

Message: Take a look at Crane Hi-6S. Essentially the same thing except digital (MSD is analog). Quite a bit cheaper.

Message: KRC is high. They really need to come down on there prices. And thats a 6a box. If you have a stick get the 6-al. It have a rev limiter.

Message: I understand how you feel. Summit is a heck of a lot bigger operation than us, in particular they get some killer MSD pricing that I just can't get. We can sell other ignition stuff for less but MSD is what most of our customers are looking for.

Message: Support the little guy's. When you call summit for a question on how to install your ignition box you will get a universal answer. When you call KRC about your install they will hook you up with what your looking for. They know these trucks inside out.
Just like when all the wal-marts came into town all the little guys with good service went down because we are all cheap scums.

Message: I dont mean to come off as a butt but thats a really big markup. I would not expect KRC to be as cheep as summet or jegs. I know smaller business cant compete with larger ones like summet or jegs, but that price is about 90 dollars over retail. KRC probably doesent pay retail for those boxes. Also, lower prices = more items sold. The more items are sold, the better deal suppliers give business. Again, I dont mean to dog KRC, they are the only ones who are bold enough to specalize in dakots (nobody else gives a crap about these trucks and I thank them for that). But if they want to grow they need to be a little more competative with there prices.
