Message: I have a 1987 Dakota with the 3.9 V6 automatic. The truck is rather beat up and has 190,000 miles on it. My wish is to bring life back into this truck. Ive all ready done the interior work "Door Panels, Trim, ect ect..." What are my tuneing options? Can I put a 4.7 V8 in the thing? Is there a way to get the 2.2 Turbo 3 from a Daytona in there. What can be done to make this truck fast?!

Message: Either the Magnum 5.2 or 5.9 will bolt in to the same engine mount setup your current setup uses (the pre-Magnum needs a crossmember added for the engine mounts). Add a carb, matching intake manifold, in-line electric fuel pump for carb, and Mopar Performance ignition kit. Use high capacity electric radiator fans with a V8 swap. Treat the tranny to a good performance rebuild and bolt it up. Add a limited slip (posi) to your rear. Have fun.
