recently won a airaid CAI on ebay for 25.00 - not too shabby! Anyway I just wanted to say that it sounds mean during acceleration. I've had K&N before and this makes it sound much better than my K&N's have. I didn't care about gains that much, just wanted the growl. Just thought I'd give my two cents for anyone wondering about the airaid brand.

That is nice to hear I just ordered an airaid intake for my truck, waiting for it to come in now. Is yours a drop in filter, or is it a full intake?

Mine is the full intake version. Another nice thing is the fact that it makes the top of the engine easier to get to and less stuffy. You'll like it.
