Message: Hey Mike, I never had the MSD igntion to compare too. I did hear good things on both of them. As far as the computer Flash.........Man, it woke up my truck. I before could nail it from a stop and it would spin maybe 2 ft. After the computer it would annihilate the rears. At 20-25mph it would leave a 15-20ft patch if I layed into it. On the dyno the flash gave me 25 rearwheel HP over stock.

Message: Jake, The 1.7's gave a deeper rumble and a little more pronounced idle. It definitely give you more TQ down low and pulls harder thruout the rpmps. I'd recommend the TB first, Headers, then M-1, BG Flash computer, and 1.7's. These mods are proven mods that DO work and you will feel/see a big difference. Let me know if your interested in the 52mm TB I have for sale. You will see a difference with that mod alone. The others will work and build the power along with it. These mods will amaze you on the power to be extracted from your motor.

Message: Can you tell me about how many miles is on the tb? And i was looking at the pph headers too, can i get just the headers without the y pipe, cause i wanted to go with the x pipe with true dual spintech? How do you think true duals would work with a tb and m1 intake, Im looking at ordering all three about the same time.
Thanx Alot
Jake

Message: My TB has about 1000 miles on it right now. It's basically brand new still and nothing to really wear out. It will work great with any other mods you do. You can go duals or single. I remember reading that going duals and single really don't differ that much, plus you got the added weight of another pipe. It's all about cosmetics, what you want. Any way you go with the exhaust, the TB and M-1 intake will compliment each other. Email me at spali32@yahoo.com if you want more info/pics on the throttle body. You'll be impressed over the stock TB.

Message: Thanks Spali, any other suggestions when ordering a BG Flashed computer besides telling them what has been done to the truck? Advanced timing? etc?

Message: Mike, yes be sure to tell Dave at B&G your current mods are ones you will be putting on soon. For example, he has a regular flash(24degrees of advance timing) and a M-1 Flash(36 degrees advance timing). If you have a M-1 or are planning on getting one soon, tell him you have the mod. If you don't you won't get the full power effect of shifting at 5,400rpms(M-1) versus the 5,000rpms(regular flash). Believe me, the M-1 is the way to go. The truck just responds like a whole new animal unleased with the M-1 flash versus the stock computer from the factory. There supposedly a 1 second gain on your 0-60 times versus the factory set up. The flash was the most felt in the "butt dyno" and the seen in the "dyno" at the rear tires. But the important thing is that you put the mods on your truck that work and have proven to work by other R/T's.
