that gets rid of the rev limiter that will get in the away with the more mods you add and i havint heard any Complaints about it not being worth it.
cam is a nether good one or roller rocker arms.
the best bang for the buck to me is to make a home made Cold Air Intake. that will cost $40-$50 and on my 318 it made 1/4 times faster.

Message: The mopar PCM would be great. On a stock r/t it dynos 1 hp peak and 28ft lbs or torque to the wheels. There are some good hp and torque gains under peak also. The mopar PCM helps to put all other mods together.
The larger throttle body will help too.

Message: Ok, i would like to get my truck breathing better. I thought about it and i think i will start with headers, and if any is left over i might go with a fastmans tb or an m1 intake. But now my question is, what is the best header to run? Would mopar be the best?
Thanx

f&b for the TB for sure

Message: I have another question. I was told that if i wanted to run true duals that the best headers to get would be Hooker Race Headers. If i ran these headers true duals with no cat, would this be good performance? Enough back preasure? And where can i look up these Hooker Race Headers?

Message: jay- im not sure why any header would be different than the next as far as whats 'best' to run true duals with... they all have 3bolt flanges (except the cheap ones), and the rest of the pipes are gonna need some fabrication anyways...
as far as real numbers out of an m1 and headers- i cant give you that, but youre gonna need a set of gears and a converter to make up for the low-end loss of the m1.- you will be happy with the top end gains though.
but- with that~ comes the need for more mods. since you just shot your powerband to the moon with the m1, tb, headers etc... youre gonna need a good PCM tune to take advantage of it, and make it stop slamming into the rev limiter at every shift. and since youre now revving too high for the stock valvetrain to handle- good time for a set of roller rockers and valve springs. but why would you do all that work on stock heads.... here come the r/t heads, but why would you swap heads and leave the cam in?.. lol.. im sorry dude, its a never ending process. just DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you decide to buy.
too many of us (im a PRIME example) didnt learn the first time, and had to do things 2 or 3 times.. thats a lot of wasted money over the years

Message: you sould be fine, i just recently got trues on my 4.7L, and i have gained torque down low, i can spin them even longer through intersections now. Btw i also dont have cats, with 2.5 in tube, but sadly no headers yet.

Message: I got a Fastman 52mm Throttle Body for sale. Used for 2 months. Works awesome. At 40mph roll I can nail the gas and I get a chirp from the rear tires. Never had that before on my stock TB. Reason for selling is I'm selling the truck and I just put a bunch of money into it. You don't get much for a trade in on aftermarket mods. I'm asking $200 shipped.
