If you didn't remove it from your R/T before you sold it the tuner is locked (to that truck) and no good for anybody else. If you did revert the R/T back to stock setting before you sold it the tuner is good to install onto any other truck it's made for.
If it is still installed you need to do either: 1) sell it to the new owner, 2) contact him/her so you can remove it, then sell it, or 3) send it to Superchips with some $$$s and they will reinitialize it for you, then you can sell it.
It would be in the new owner's best interest to take advantage of option 1 or 2.
