Message: That's pretty much where my QC 4X4 sits.
Some of the trucks I LOST to I beat to the 1/8 mark and then lost after that.
Also depends on what altitude and track you go to as well. Are you in a 4X4 like me?
I think 16's would only be a Stang Killer if you raced a V6 Mustang :)
You didn't post what TRUCK you had. So the info is hard to bias for you...
Oh yeah. I'm only two hours from Tuscon.

Message: i ran a best of 16.2 at 86mph
i have only ran it twice but both times spun alot off the line.
318 cc auto 98. i ran a 16.43 with a flowmaster and throttle body spacer. when i made the CAI i ran the 16.2 and spun through 1st and chirp in 2nd. that had to have hurt my time.
my truck, with spinning off the line still was hitting 60mph in 8.0sec not bad for a truck with a 151,000 miles under its belt.
i have new tires that will grab so i will have to try the 1/4 again.
what engine do you have and what year truck?

Message: hey guys what confuses me is that i have an RT with the 360 and LSD. and graphite dak you are running similar times? elevation is just over 3000 feet and the air temp was somwere in the 60's. track temp was below 98 degrees. so let me know what the deal is. i was expecting lowwer times, 15's or high 14's or am i just wanting to much for the first time. and by the way grapitedak yeah i was talkin bout V-SUCS's. my friend had a 232 mustand and he always thought he could beat me. i guess he kept forgeting that i have an RT.

Message: Where is that Stangkiller?
Those times are ok for the Dak, but you aint killing any stangs in my club. Even a V6 stang sits at high 15's...they have 200HP and weigh 3300lbs.
Change your name to Civickiller or ricekiller that's more appropriate : P

Message: 8banger: *noogie* He said where he was in his first post - SIR is in Tucson, Arizona. 3000' elevation plus warm weather, times definitely won't be on par vs. other tracks. I've driven down there on a number of occasions and you definitely don't earn your best ET's at SIR.

Message: hahah... i am back, in computers class!
anyways, as for the racing question...just yesterday i raced my
buddies '01 Cherokee Sport 4.0 from a 30 roll ( the same guy as
that thread i started a while back )
we tied up evenly all the way to 75 mph...i was so happy - and i
had one more person in my car with the window rolled down...lol
but he still murders me off the line :/
the same day i raced my friends '94 camry dx 2.2l 5 speed...he
beat me a lot of times and we tied a couple, the weird thing is
that i usually smoke him ( but something went wrong with my
truck just yesterday...)
im getting this extremely loud grinding noise coming from the
rear...i thought it was my exhaust rattliing, i have no idea, my
dad suggested bearings ehhh
