Subject: Auto Trans IP: Logged
Message: Just replaced my trans in my 99 Dak 5.2 4x4, and need some advice!! The trans was rebuilt proffesionally and they put a towing kit in the trans. I've been driving it for two days now and it seems to take alot longer to shift, and when it does shift it seems like it slips a little. Could the front band ajustment need to be adjusted
or something else?
Also all the sensors on the trans are new, I replaced the crank position Sensor to. I know one of my o2 sensors is bad , Would this make the engine run bad enough to make the trans not shift right? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Message: Sorry not reallly sure but i would put in the new O2 and see. If neot get it back to the tranny shop and have them fix it. I'm sure you paid a pretty penny and should get some warrantee. If a shift kit was installed it may shift at a little higher rpm as well as a little harder.
