Message: Isn't is a pain to pull out the motor though? Yes a cam is a great investment for power / cost effectiveness, but isn't it a whole lot of work to install? (not refering to the 4.7's etc.)

Message: Pull the radiator and grille, leave the engine in place. Yeah, it's a pain, but well worth it. Any significant mileage on it? Take the opportunity to replace the water pump and serpentine belt, and upgrade the timing chain set since they have to come off anyway with the cam change.
Competition Cams Xtreme Energy Roller cams....and don't forget the heavy duty pushrods, retainers and locks, and most importantly, the valve springs!
