Message: I have a 2000 reg cab r/t and stock the 1/4 mile time was in the low 15s on street tires. You won't notice a huge improvement by just adding one performance part. Singly each part will only improve it a miniscule amount. However once all of the parts are on there and the computer has "relearned" the new parameters, suddenly you will notice a huge improvement because all the parts are working together and collectively improving the performance. Also you should think about a hypertech or superchips reprogramer to tie everything together. As for towing, I don't have anything to tow. However my friends 99 r/t pulls his 20ft boat out off the ramp just fine and no problem on the road with it. The factory tow rating is 2000lbs. Thats not just the bumper weight, thats the max load of the truck. Im told that dodge did this just to cover their asses because the truck is lowered one inch from factory all the way around leaving the axle a little closer to the frame. But with the right weight balance on the trailer and the truck, pulling that rock crawler should be no problem at all. Just a tip if your going to be using it to tow, I would stay away from the pulleys and get a reprogramer instead, you don't want to be overheating.

Message: Towing limit is at 2000 because of the suspension, although others have had no problem with higher loads.

Message: Towing how?? on a trailer? add on the weight of the trailer too... possible damage: rear sway bar end links, transmission ( 1st gear especially) start moving slowly, let the engine do the work, not the gas pedal! DO NOT tow by the bumper, it'll bend and possibly break in half... add on a decent class 2 or 3 trailer hitch. BTW, Uhaul wouldn't even think of renting you a trailer or tow hitch for this application!
