Well, there are a few programs that can guess your maximum hp if you can guess at volumetric efficiency, head flow etc...
go to www.thedodgegarage.com
there's a downloads section there- it has a 1.4mile estimator and a HP estimator, and an intercooler designer that can also guess horsepower. I can't garuntee the accuracy of those programs though.
There is another too, but I can't remember what it is. It's like Virtuaal Engine Dyno 2000 or something. It has a free demo that you can download that might have a HP calculator, and I think if you pay for the full version it allows you to "build" an engine and figure out how much power it could produce.

Desktop Dyno used to be a HP program. Look for it on amazon for a good price.
