i have heard that they don't work any more after they have been plug in and see the computer codes.

They can be installed and uninstalled as many times as you wish. The key is, it must be uninstalled in order to use it on any other vehicle. You can not install the program in multiple vehicles.

it doesn't marry itself to anytruck, you can install and uninstall as many times as you want.
