Subject: incorrect fuel/air IP: Logged
Message: one quick question: does anyone know why my stock cpu would mess up my air fuel ratio by adding performance parts? I went to the dyno the other day and i lost 4hp and 14 lb of torque from my last dyno run. the difference, this time i had gibson headers and a pulley in addition to a CAI and MBRP catback.
Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust my air fuel ratio? the dyno people told me i was running a full point to rich. thanks

Message: How long have you had the Gibson's on ?
Can take a week of running around for the
computer to be able to " correct " for them..

Message: fastpastor;
Check out these sites and products:
http://www.splitsec.com/
Look at the ARC1 Air/Fuel Ratio Calibrator
or
http://www.krcperformance.com/newcontent/pcm.html
scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at the ROE Racing VEC1. Thats what I have.
I think they both do the same thing though. Your dyno guy is right, Dodge engines start out lean on the a/f curve and then they get fat at WOT. With the ROE controller I was able to dial it back during the WOT so it would not be so fat at the bottom of the a/f curve.
Hope this helps you,
Later...
