The Paxton will work, but if you are just getting the head unit you will need some more stuff. Bracket to mount it, some sort of ignition control, bypass valve, intake tubing, FMU or upgraded fuel pump. Maybe some other stuff too. Many have used the Paxton on their trucks, mainly on the 318/360s though. You may have to clearance the passenger side fender though. I know a Powerdyne bolts up to a 3.9, but needs a little extra room on that side since it is farther back in the engine bay.
