Subject: M.P. kit pushrods

Message:
I just installed my M1 intake and 1.7 RR kit(the M.P. one). It was my thinking that the pushrods were too short. They just weren't long enough to get the proper preload, yet still retain clearence between thr rocker body and stud pedistal. I called up The Fastman and he advised me to ditch those crap rods, and get a set 6.900". They I read a few old posts on the M.P. pushrods(they are really crane) and read not one good thing about them. Trick Flow makes the set I need at an affordable $83 from Summit. I should have them on friday. The ones that came with the kit have less than 10 miles on them, if anybody is interested in paper weights. Has any body else had this problem? I hope that when I get this all sorted out I will notice a diference.
