Yeah for a 4X4 your truck killed me off the line. I wonder if there were and prizes for reaction times. My .074 had to of been close to the fastest reaction time. I'm gonna put dual exhausts on soon I hope. My best time of 15.74 was pretty sad. Although my alignment is pretty bad, my truck pulls to the right alot and I have 3 O2 sensors out. Don't know if any of that stuff would slow me down but it seems the bad alignment can't be helping.

From what it looks like, times are SLOWER at that rack than people get at other tracks.
Look at the Stock Nissan Titan's and Dodge RAM Hemi's. All over 16 seconds there, and they were all 2WD except that one 4WD Titan that showed up later this last Saturday.

I have not yet figured out why MY truck pulls yours from a dead stop. Last time I beat almsot everybody up to the last 1/3 of the track. So close that you can hear my daughter and friends in the background of them videos getting "upset" I didn't win when it looked liek I would :p

I figured with you having the smaller tires and 2WD you would have had an advantage from the get go. Maybe they have taller gears than 3.55's in the 2WD? Could you have like 3.2x something? I dunno what else Dak's came with in this generation besides 3.55's and 3.92's

Duals are in the near future as well as 4.10's
Depends on when I can spend the money. The duals would be the cheapest thing to do.

I'm on call this saturday but if it's slow around evening time I may still be able to go to the track. My bro in law wants to go I think.

Let me know if you plan on going again.

10-4. Hopefully I'll have the fundage for the trip but I'd love to go again. I changed my exhaust a little so I'm interested in seeing if there is any change. Anyone know if an alignment would help my E.T.?

10-4 :p

Been a while since I've used them words.
In Payson we ALWAYS ran CB radios. Was almost a nightly thing at one time to go sit on the hill and "raise hell on the radio"!

I'm tempted to get some new cats and pick up some pipe form the muffler shop. Then I can start grinding and welding the bends hopefully while the other exhaust is still on.

GD, look at Summit and/or Jegs for a universal exhaust kit instead of stopping by the muffler shop for pipes. I was looking into exhausts couple of months back and Jeg's had a mandrel bent universal exhaust for around $150. Not too bad for a complete mandrel bent exhaust, minus headers, cats and muffs.

Graph,
Not sure but I think Titans come with 3.73s, (4.10s w/ tow package). LSDs Standard? Off road package adds Electronic locker in the rear?
Set up pretty nice, too bad they're so darn ugly.

The 2WD Titan was about 16 to 16.1
Your truck was quicker.

The 4X4 was barely quicker than me and a little slower than the 2WD Titan.

I beat BOTH od them 2/3 of the way down the track. And they had good reaction times too. Got to figure out why on earth my little V8 would have it over them from the get go???? And then WHY do I get passed at higher speeds.

One thing is I notice I beat a lot of these things (and cars) from the stoplights and usually let off by 60. So on the streets I do pretty good against somethings that would beat me in a longer race.

DSW. Them trucks ARE ugly. The dash is kinda funky. But again, isn't the new Dakota follwing suite? EWW.
I like the GenIII dashes.

Also. I asked to see under the Titan owner's hood. Nissan STILL puts more bullsheet on their engine. The Dakota 4.7 has to be one of the simplest fuel injected engines out of most vehicles and way more room. The Titan has the engine shoved back into the firewall like the previous gen F150 Ford was. That was one reason I bought the Dakota over the F150.
I know I like to take the wrench on my vehicles.

My trucks seems to die off a bit close to the end and i've got the blower. I seriously think its the shift into third. I want to try the TMR mod but I don't want to screw anything up and i don't know if it's really worth it for maybe a couple tenths.
The track is pretty addicting though. I've hoooked a few of my buddies this year. My one buddy calls me his pusher now;). We've gone down every "street legal only" nights this year. Makes me mad though cuz there is NO way all the cars they let run are legal for the street. I tell guys times aren't rally all that important but working on your reaction times and consistency can be good fun in itself. Personal best R/T is .015, and my consistency is getting damn good!!
