I got a set of pacesetter ceramic coated shorty headers after about 2 months of waiting because they were back ordered. I chose these on price only, $389. The Edlebrock were close to the same price but I didn't find any information on these. I did read a couple post on the Pacesetters that said they were OK but not great.

The problem with these are that the drivers side rear tube curls upward an forward then down and actually hits the brake booster. I would have just thrown them back in the box and returned them even after wating for them so long but it was late and I needed my truck the next day. My only other choice was put the old manifolds back on. Of course I put the passenger side on first since it looked easier than the drivers side so I would have to take that one back off. I decided the just dent the Brake Booster where the tube hit it. It onlt needed about 1/4 inch of clearance but it was still a real pain in the ass becaue of the tight area.

I finally got them on after 9 HRS!!! Another reason it took so long was that the last stud I removed BROKE OFF!! I worked it in and out for about 1/2 hr trying to get it out the finally just tried to force it....bad idea. took me about 3 hrs to get the broken stud out since I couldn't get a drill into the space to drill it out.

I would suggest anyone thinking about getting a set of these Pacesetter shorty headers, think twice.
