There is a torque step restricting the TB that this opens up. I didn't do mine since the '00s came with a 65mm TB; and the others got a 68mm TB. I got a 68mm that someone else had already ported and found they couldn't use on a newer truck when they traded in because of a design change. While some have claimed a noticable gain, I didn't really perceive that much difference. To be fair, I didn't dyno or track test it. I noticed more of a gain from the HO cams, and from a PCM flash. Some with manual transmissions have claimed they don't notice as much of a gain from a flash, I suspect the manual tranny trucks may come with more ignition advance stock. There are directions for how to port on this site if you do a search.
