 Subject: TB fireball

I just finished putting my 97 3.9 back together with new cam, lifters, pushrods, RR, V8 TB, and various other parts. It wont start, it keeps spitting fire out the TB. What do I have wrong, could it be my Disrtibutor is 180 off??
Please help, I wanna feel the power.

Definately a timing issue. Start with the spark plug wiring, then fuel sync (distributer) and then the timing chain.

Yep, that will do it. Congrats on completing your project. Do you plan on getting it dynoed or taking it to the strip?

Next week I am getting it dynoed, gotta go to Gary IN. Thats the closest place for me to get it done, hope I dont get shot at while im there.I will post the results when its done.
