Message: ART,I'm sure it's a great system but for Stainless they want $700.00 U.S.The stock system is Stainless and want the same so it will last for the life of my truck or maybe just a muffler changer if the packing blows out.

Message: You sure the stock exhaust is stainless?Mines not its aluminized exhaust stock and I did not see SS exhaust as an option for the dakota, ive got aluminized exhaust on my demon and its going on 10 years not even close to rotting out yet and just so you know it is very well made,I looked at all the cat-backs out there, this was the most well made anyway hope you find something

Message: Just out of curiousity, has anyone had problems with their "aluminized" or "stainless" cat? I'm on my third one now, at 55K miles. A friend of mine went through similar, but switched to a hi-flow unit. If you haven't had problems with it, would you please check and see if there's a hangar near your cat? I don't have one, and am beginning to suspect that this is why it's going out routinely. -tk
