who the heck would want to ride around in a truck with open headers? No chick I know wants to listen to that noise...they want tunes and to play the flute (skin)

My grandma has the same problem.

Don't listen to any of them. I have been looking for a wing for my truck. I want one that is between 63 and 64" wide however. To all those that think the wings are Japanese, think again. 1970 SuperBird, 1969 Dodge Daytona. How about all the Top Fuel Cars. Point being, we invented the wing. Second, if you drive your truck ever, around 140mph, the wing will work. Also, It draws attention, and the ricers want to race, and get beat. That is, if you have an R/T, or one very built 4.7 Late

Ya know, I hate to knock ideas but DANM thats stupid, your driving a street truck and you think that wing is going to put 30+ HP to the ground??? Your NUTS straight up, if your going for looks, more power to you, if its done right some of those wings are ok, just not my thing. You wanna put power to the ground, traction bars with wider tires, or if your insane chop your axel and tub it out. you drive A TRUCK your not going to get it up to speeds fast enough for that wing to do jack, the problem with traction is LOW SPEED off the line torque, a wing will do squat, unless its made of lead and weighs 100+ lbs, then you may get traction benefit from added weight over the a$$. Ya know, that post is so stupid you sound like a troll. Just in case people don't know, a troll is someone that comes around forums to cause a stick with retarted posts, big problems with those at tech sites.

If your truck was 1 inch off the ground, and set for track racing of 150+, yeah, you'll benefit, otherwise, get off the crack pipe, as for open headers on a 6, that reminds me of a coffee can on those ricers, you want it to sound me, upgrade to a V8 and put a good exhaust system on it, I suppose you want one of those turbo blow off noise makers too.

how old are you, 16?

Their wings do nothing because they are front wheel drive, but mine is rear, which will put an easy 30-50 more hp to the ground once I get that thing attached to my tailgate

DANM this is so stupid, it kills me! Their wings don't do shti because they are 1 not shaped right to begin with 2 they do not get up to high enough speeds, and yes, if you put a proper wing on a ricer and get it up to speed it will benefit even if it is front wheel drive, a wing is there to keep the A$$ on the ground, thats why in a porche, the wing pops up you feel your a$$ drop, it keeps the car on the road in the turns, at high speeds regardless of front wheel drive or rear the a$$ has a tendancy to slide out, a wing prevents that... did you know you have to do 100 + to get the wing up on a porche? do you know why? cause its a FREEKIN waste unless your driving a curvy road at HIGH SPEEDS.. I'm done, your stupid if your getting that wing for anything other than looks or unless your running a track truck... GEEZ

Just put in on the ground, and run it over. You don't even need to open the box.

I got a great idea! what hurts our trucks.... weight, so I say put the wing on the front, upside down! it'll lift the front up making it lighter, thats gotta take at least a whole 2 seconds of the quarter! DANM, I'm gonna go get one now!

hehe im glad someone mentioned that the post is over a year old, or i wouldve felt like a bigger tool responding to it LOL...anyway, if its a joke, its a funny one...i thought about the cervini's spoiler for my r/t...its very subtle, but i realized that $300 can buy me roller rockers or something else that actually DOES something. anyway, the people that are hardcore defending wings are kinda silly. at 200mph the saleen s7 would stick to the road if you FLIPPED IT UPSIDE DOWN. the cool part??? no wing. granted it sits an inch of the pavement.
well, its 2am..i should probably rub one out and get to sleep. got a long day of fabbing body kits out of saran wrap and fiberglass resin tomorrow LOL

oh yea...that superbee style wing on that olds was AMAZING!
