yep. either one you want. i got the airhog and i can tell you that it is just as good as the k&n, so don't buy into the brand bias that alot of people will throw at you, just choose the one you want. airhog is about $35 at walmart, btw.

You would have to read the box, but sure its is. If fact I know that it is, they had the reoiling kit for it like the K and N.

I have an Air Hog, and it does me just good. I could feel the increased power off the start, and it bumped up my gas mileage about 2 mpg.

I get one of each out of the box and hold it up to the light. Whichever has the least light leak (smallest holes) is the one I use. So far, neither the Airhog nor K&N has won out over the standard Fram $4.95 replacement air filter.
However, soon I'll be adapting the filter box from a '98-'00 Tacoma to the Dakota. That particular stock Toyota OEM air filter is excellent, flows well, has acres of filter medium (compared the the Dakota filter), CANNOT collapse on itself, and catches really small stuff.

That's the whole idea, Jimmy. the less light you see, the more restrictive it is. A filter's ability to trap particles is measured in microns, not with a light meter. If you don't want to see any light, buy used filters.

Neither, get a True Flow. Oiled foam will breath almost as well as a clean oiled cotton filter, and will breath much better as they get dirty. Filtration on foam is also better then cotton.
